A method for the measurement of smoke and HCl evolution from poly (vinyl chloride)

As poly(vinyl chloride) becomes more popular as a building material and electrical insulation, it becomes more important to life safety to determine its smoke and hydrogen chloride evolution characteristics during pyrolysis.
