Study of Offering Photon Technology Courses for Electron Technology Specialties

It is expounded that photon technology possesses the position in present day electron technology as well as such courses offered in electron technology specialties are of great importance. For the teaching in electron technology specialties,it is necessary for photon technology courses to merge into present courses system in order to cultivate the compound type of future technicians with the abilities of making innovations. Taking the contradictions of arduous and miscellaneous courses into account, we regulate the photon technology courses into three model blocks: Laser Technology course, Photoelectron Technology course and Optical Fiber Communication Technology course, with the related introduction of background, significance, tendency and synopsis. Strengthening the basis and broadening the specialized scope, for these courses should be emphasized.
