Abstract:The kinematics models of boost phase and coast phase of the ballistic missile(BM) trajectory are rather different,so how to consecutively track the boost phase and coast phase transitions without any prior information has become an urgent problem.To solve this problem,an interacting multiple model(IMM) filter is proposed,which establishes relevant tracking models based on boost phase and coast phase of the ballistic trajectory.Two filters are needed in the algorithm,one is CA-EKF which is adapted to track boost phase,and the other is CV-EKF which is adapted to track coast phase.These two filters estimate the real time state of the BM by adapted updating probability of the two models.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can consecutively track the BM from the boost phase till the coast phase and be proved of high estimation precision.
