进入新世纪，一种称为气吹灭弧的新分断技术应用于低压断路器。这种灭弧系统每一极有一由产气材料制作的单元灭弧室使断路器分断性能大为提高，它是依靠灭弧小室器壁产气而形成的气流来熄灭电弧的。介绍了这种新型灭弧系统的原理和近期研究成果。

Wall Ablation and Auto-Puffer Interrupting Technology in Low Voltage Circuit Breaker

Entering new century, a new interrupting technology to be referred as auto puffer arc quenching technology is used in low voltage circuit breaker. In this quenching system, there is unit chamber made by gassing material for each pole of breaker, based on gas blowing out, which is produced by wall ablation, the interrupting performance can be greatly increased. The theory and recent research results of auto puffer quenching system were introduced in this paper.
