| Abstract: | Xiang-Liou Basin is a Diwa basin,large areas of which are covered with Red layer.This rock is widespread during Cretaceous to Eogene in this area.Problems such as determinating the weathering belt,the bearing capacity,the compressive strength and evaluating the properties for construction materials have been discussed in this paper. |
