方型密封镉镍电池低电压现象初探

摘    要:方型密封镉镍电池在1个月的贮存搁置期间,出现部分低电压电池,在因果分析的基础上,我们进行了低电压电池解剖、理化分析、荷电保持能力试验、过放电及模拟低电压电池试验,以查找造成电池低电压的原因。试验证明,方型密封镉镍电池低电压现象主要是由于电池装配过紧、隔膜均匀性致密性差、极板脱粉、电池封口时电极状态失常等因素造成的,同时,电极极耳的焊接方式也对低电压现象产生一定影响。生产厂应从上述几方面入手,防患于未然,减少或消除低电压现象的产生。

Abstract:Prismatic sealed Ni Cd batteries performed the low voltage phenomenon partially in the one month storage and shelf period. In order to study the reasons of the phenomenon, we carried on tests as the following: dissect of low voltage cells, physical and chemical analysis of electrode, self discharge and over discharge of cells and analogy fo low voltage cell. The test results prove that the factors that cause the phenomenon are as the following: the battery assembly is over compact, the homogeneity and compactness is poor, the nickel powder drop from the plate and the status of electrode is not normal during sealing. In addition, the weld mode can also cause the low voltage phenomenon. Manufacturers should start with these factors to decrease or eliminate the low voltage phenomenon.
