| Abstract: | This paper briefly describes the experience and problems of burning No.180 heavy oil in the two PG6541B gas turbines of Mingda power plant in the year 1999.It deals with a number of aspects,such as water wash,vanadium inhibitor and firing,etc.Besides,a discussion on some particular conditions,such as the burning distillate oil in units and the high temperature rise of thrust bearing pads is made. |
