Technical Analysis on Building Collapse of "Lotus Riverside" Apartment Complex

Collapse of the entire building of ＂Lotus Riverside＂ is a major liability accident arising from construction and operation violating regulations.Drawing a lesson from the collapse of the entire building,this paper proposes that precautionary measures such as reduction of the difference of elevation of the foundation should be adopted as far as possible when the spacing of buildings are small during residential design and construction,which plays a role in preventing unpredictable construction risks.
