Abstract:A new method for determination of hydrocarbon group-type in diesel was developed.The hydrocarbon group-types(saturates and olefins,monoaromatics,diaromatics,polyaromatics,polars)were separated rapidly by high performance liquid chromatography with two column switching technique and detected by moving-wire flame ionization detector.Two columns are amino column and cyano column.The mobile phases are n-hexane and dichloromethane which is for backflushing cyano column in 12 minute.The standard deviation for all hydrocarbon group-type is less than 1.0%.The method has been used for analysis of diesels derived from different processings.
