标量-矢量量化(SVQ)在子带编码中的应用

摘    要:子带编码(SBC)作为中低码率的波形编码方法,已经广泛应用于语音及声频编码。SBC可以通过给各子带分配不同的量化及编码比特数,使压缩编码后的重建语音具有较高的质量。SVQ是一种低复杂度、结构化的标量-矢量量化编码[1],它的码书结构可由标量量化的变长码得到。本文将SVQ量化编码方法用于子带编码,设计了语音信号SVQ子带编码模拟系统,模拟结果表明重建语音具有较高的主、客观质量。

Abstract:Subband coding,as a method of medium/low rate waveform coding,has been widely used in speech and voice coding.High quality reconstructed speech can be obtained by encoding the signal in each band with a different number of bits.Ths scalar vector quantizer(SVQ) is a low complexity structured quantizer,The structure of its codebook is derived from a variable length scalar quantizer.In this paper,SVQ is applied to SBC and a speech signal SVQ subband coding system is simulated.Simulation results show that the quality of the reconstructed speech is quite high in objective and subjective measures.
