| Abstract: | In view of the failure of mechanical parts working under a condition involving high temperature, wear and hot fatigue, a build up electrode of precipitation strengthening austenitic matrix with a rare earth element yttrium added is developed. The structure and properties of build up layer made with the electrode are also investigated systematically. |
