| Abstract: | A new method for the computation of optical performance for magneto-optical (MO) multilayer structure was derived. It can be used in calculating the optical performance of MO multilayer structure containing one or more magnetic layers, such as reflectivity, Kerr rotation and elliptieity. The method has been applied to design and prepare MO recording media with bilayer structure. |
