Abstract:Aluminium titanate-mullite composite was synthesized from longyan kaolinite,industrial titanium dioxide and waste sludge of aluminium factory as the raw materials.The second phase of mullite can improve the stability of Al2TiO5 and decrease its decomposition during the cooling.In this paper,the influence of sintering temperature on the microstructure,phase structure of the target composite as well as the content of each crystalline phase,was mainly discussed to determine the optimum one.In addition,XRD and ...
