ANALYSIS ON THE FIXED BED REACTOR SYSTEM FOR PRODUCTION OF PA FROM O-XYLENE

The various processes of phthalic anhydride (PA) from o-xylene through fixed bed reactor and the characteristics of the catalysts arc introduced as well as the features, types and developments of the reactor systems. The reactor design, performances and constructions of axial melt pumps and melt salt coolers in the reactor systems, arrangerncnt of equipments in the reactor and the heat recovery etc. are also analysed.
