Abstract:The long-distance oil and gas pipeline has many points,long lines and complex surrounding environment,so the accompanying optical cable has become the only way to monitor the external intrusion and signal transmission of the pipeline in real time.But,long time of deploying optical fiber and geological deformation lead to fiber core breaking,which seriously affects the safety of pipeline production.However,the existing optical fiber breakpoint monitoring and precise positioning technology cannot meet the production requirements.This paper analyzes the principle of optical fiber condition monitoring based on a large number of literatures,summarizes the methods of optical fiber vibration monitoring and precise positioning of breakpoint,and points out the development direction of optical fiber condition monitoring and precise positioning of breakpoint in the long-distance oil and gas transmission smart pipeline.
