Multiple Parameters Calibration for DOT Open System

Abstract:Practical imaging system needs to be carefully calibrated before it is used for imaging algorithm design and verification. In this work, we have implemented a proof-of-principle FPGA controlled diffuse optical tomography (DOT) open system for our DOT and X-ray computed tomography (XCT) bi-modality joint reconstruction research, and calibrated parameters of this imaging system needed for DOT data acquisition and coordinate matching with XCT, including the conversion ratio of energy into gray level of the detector, the magnification of the lens, the distances between the scanner axes to the detector and the distances between the scanner axes and the phantom.
