摘    要:随着液晶显示器件向低盒厚,轻薄化,高可靠性方向发展的需求,设计开发具有高双折射率、高介电各项异性、高清亮点、高可靠性的单体液晶顺应了发展的趋势。四联苯类液晶可以用于提升液晶的使用温度范围、提高液晶的折射率,并显著提高液晶的可靠性,是近年来混合液晶设计常用的一类单体材料。本文设计、合成、评测了一类末端四氟的四联苯液晶单体,并且考察了在液晶组合物中的应用,相对于常见单体,该系列单体的折射率大于0.3,介电大于20,清亮点高于200℃,同时使紫外后电阻率提升68%~107%,并改善VHR的表现,通过气质联用、核磁氢谱、差热分析等分析方法对结构进行了表征,并对性能参数与液晶分子结构之间的关系进行了初步分析探讨。

Abstract:Next main development trend about LCD panels with light weight and high reliability performance at lower cell gap is strongly requested from market. Therefore the development trend of liquid crystal single material does have the physical property of higher clearing point(CP), birefringence (△n) and dielectric anisotropy(△ε). Recent years, quaterphenyl single material could be improved about the LC mixture performance at high operation temperature and high birefringence and higher reliability. A series of tetrafluoride substituted quaterphenyl singles were synthesized and evaluated for LCD application in this paper. The single structure was confirmed by GC-MS, 1H-NMR, DSC and other analytical methods. To compare with the general liquid crystal single material, quaterphenyl has higher birefringence above 0.3, higher △ε above 20 and clearing point(CP)>200℃ at least. The relationship between structure and the physical property is discussed in this paper.
