| 摘 要： | 基于小波变换的图像编码是一种有效的图像压缩方法。针对零树小波编码方法存在的缺点，提出了一种改进的零树编码方法。仿真实验表明，这种改进的零树编码方法加快了编码速度，提高了图像压缩质量。另外，该编码方法也能够产生嵌入式码流，支持多码率解码。

| Abstract: | Image coding based on wavelet is an effective image compression method. An improved algorithm is proposed for the drawbacks of the EZW. By applying the improved EZW algorithm, image compression quality and coding efficiency have been enhanced. The algorithm not only decreases the time consuming of encoding, but also produces embedded stream and supports multirate image decoding. |
