| Abstract: | The manufacturing process and method of the SiC reflecting mirror are introduced in this paper. The blank preparation, dense surface coating, precision machining of the optical surface and light weight fabrication are presented. The worldwide progress and present state of SiC mirror are reviewed emphatically and the prospect of SiC mirror is discussed. |
