Abstract:On the basis of the analysis of the test results and engineering practical example,the major engineering characteristic of steel slag pile and the mechanism of the soft clay subgrade treatment by such pile is presented and the design,construction,test and monitoring problems about the soft clay subgrade treatment by steel slag pile are discussed.The engineering practice shows that method has great effect and can be good reference for similar engineering.
