基于PCI Express的高速数据传输系统研究与开发

摘    要:为了解决高速数据采集系统中的数据传输速率这一瓶颈问题,在对PCI Express总线进行研究后,提出了一种基于PCI Express总线的高速数据传输系统的构建方法;系统设计中采用模块化的设计思想,探讨了PCI Express软件层的设计思路和实现方法,阐述了各个模块的功能,最后对编写PCI Express设备驱动程序的几个关键问题进行了论述并给出解决方案;采用以上设计方法,系统运行稳定可靠,目前已实现2.5Gbit/s的数据传输速率,对系统进行改进可获得5Gbit/s、10Gbit/s甚至更高的数据传输速率.

Abstract:In most high-speed data-collection systems, the data transfer rate has become a choke point. As to solve this problem, we made a research on PCI Express Bus technology and developed a new way to solve the rate problem with this PCI Express technology. During the research , we adopt the idea of modularization, discussed the design and realization approach on the software layer, elaborated the moduals' function respectively and discussed the critical technology during the writing of device driver , which makes the final solution out.With the application of this technology, the system runs robustly and presently it can transfer data with the rate of 2. 5Gbit/s. Making some improvement, we can boost the rate up to 5Gbit/s、10Gbit/s or more than that.
