改性煅烧高岭土对EPDM性能的影响

摘    要:采用硅烷偶联剂对煅烧高岭土进行表面改性,研究硅烷偶联剂品种和用量对煅烧高岭土填充EPDM胶料性能的影响。结果表明。硅烷偶联剂对煅烧高岭土填充EPDM胶料的焦烧时间和正硫化时间影响不大;偶联剂A-17Z的改性作用较为明显,可显著提高EPDM硫化胶的撕裂强度;偶联剂A-172用量过大,对EPDM硫化胶耐溶剂性能不利。

Abstract:The surface of calcinated kaolin was modified by different silane coupling agents,and the influence of the type and addition level on the properties of calcinated kaolin-filled EPDM compound was investigated. The results showed that the silane coupling agent had little effect on the scorch time and optimum curing time of calcinated kaolin-filled EPDM compound the coupling agent A 172 had a more significant modifying effect and gave EPDM vulcanizate much higher tear strength and the extra coupling agent A-172 would result in worse solvent resistance of EPDM vulcanizate.
