Application of VVVF Power-saving Technology in the Petroleum Chemical Industry

This paper introduces the application of motor frequency control power-saving technology in Sinopec Corp.Jiujiang Company,such as the renovations of residue feeding pump,liquid ammonia transfer pump and heating furnace blower.It shows that the application of motor frequency decreases failure rate and increases life extension of the devices,such as motor,blower and pump.In addition,the result of power-saving is highly visible.So it realizes the economical operation of the devices as well as increasing the economic returns and social benefits.In the last place,the mode advances power-saving and sustainable development.
