The crane beam is a very important structure member for the workshop in a steel works.For these years,the fatigue cracks of a welded steel crane beam have already been studied deeply and analysed,but some other fatigue crack is found in the steel works.According to the case analysis of the crack of a crane beam and reinforcing treatment in a steel works,it is emphasized the importance of connection details for a crane beam,especially for those of heavy duty.For the safety and normal use of the crane beams,the forcing behavior and slope displacement must be considered fully and rational connection forms is adopted in the details design of a crane beam.
