高产胞外多糖嗜热链球菌的诱变育种研究

摘    要:以一株从西藏雪莲中分离的产胞外多糖的嗜热链球菌(多糖产量343 mg/L)为出发菌株,采用紫外线和亚硝酸相结合的方法对其进行诱变研究。用薄层色谱和苯酚硫酸法进行筛选,获得一株产糖能力较高的突变菌株(多糖产量459 mg/L),其多糖产量较出发菌株提高了33.8%,遗传稳定性良好。

Abstract:A high EPS-producing streptococcus thermophilus strain was isolated from Tibetan Saussurea,and was mutated by UV and HNO2 environment.Thin Layer Chromatography and Phenol Sulfuric Acid Method were adopted for screening the mutant strains,a mutant strain was obtained with a EPS yield of 459 mg/L,which was 33.8% higher than the original strain.Moreover,its high EPS-producing ability remained stable.
