Promoting Economic Development in Hanjiang Watershed by Navigation, Power Generation and Others

The reason for navigation stagnated on the Hanjiang River was analyzed. Opportunities now faces the river navigation. The principle of the Hanjiang River navigation development should unify plan with due consideration for all aspects, and utilize resources comprehensively. In order to achieve optimum economic and social benefit, the necessary measures should realize channelization, thus to increase the standards, to decrease the cost, and to maintain certain trafficability.
