| Abstract: | Based on the concept of dominating set in graph theory, a mathematical model of the virtual backbone network in wireless ad hoc networks is given. A few of main design schemes of virtual backbone are presented, and are compared and analyzed from arithmetic complexity and neighbor information etc. |
