The Definition of the Cost of Rail Traffic Projects by the Method of GMP

The BT(Build-Transfer) model has significant importance to release the shortage of capital in rail traffic project, and it is also very useful to improve the efficiency of the project. This paper introduces a new method--GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) to calculate the cost of a rail traffic project. This method can reduce the risk of the owner in cost controlling greatly. Meanwhile, it can encourage the constructor to lower the cost.
