NEW METHOD USED FOR WELL-DEPTH DETECTION DURING DRILLING

Well-depth is an important parameter in petroleum drilling, its precision directly relates to many decisions in the field of petroleum engineering. Based on the particularity of drilling and present well-depth measuring means, a wireless well-depth detecting project was put forward. In this article, it detailedly discussed the basic theory of new-style well-depth detecting system, fixing method and program structure of data collection and processing.According to analysis result, it indicated that this system can not only meet the requirement of high accuracy and quick response in drilling site but also achieved real-time monitoring. The system ulteriorly improved the safety, reliability, stability and accuracy of well depth detection, and has a good application prospects.
