本文就位于重庆市闹市区浅埋大跨度岩石地下洞室的开挖、支护及预测进行了数值分析，根据分析得出的位移场、应力场、塑性区提出了安全、经济的开挖支护方案，并对施工中的监测提出了指导性的意见。由施工监测反馈的阶段性信息表明，分析的结论基本上符合实际。

Excavation, Supporting and Prediction of Shallow Large Span Underground Rock Cavern inDowntown Areas

In this paper the numerical analysis was carried out for excavation, sup-porting and prediction of shallow large span underground rock cavern in downtown area ofChongqing. Based on displacement and stress fields and plastic area obtained from theanalysis, a safe and economical program of excavation and supporting was recommended. Aguide to monitoring during construction was suggested. The sectional information fed backfrom the monitoring during construction shows that the conclusion from the analysis wasjustified by the practice.
