| Abstract: | This report relates to a method of controlling a pendulous north seeking gyrocompass, by servo of oscillatory motion of the pendulous gyroscope and added damping at exact time, in order to bring the gyroscope spin axis to rest at or near the meridian plane in a relatively short period of time. . |
