辐射在壳聚糖降解中应用

Application of radiation on degradation of chitosan

Chitosan is a natural polymer that has rich resources and wide ranging uses. It has been widely used in the fields of chemical industry, food, agriculture, environmental protection, medicine, since the molecular weight of chitosan has great impact on its properities, the properties of chitosan in different molecular weight has great difference. Premise of its application is degradating the chitosan to the required molecular weight. The methods of radiation on degradation of chitosan have the characteristics of high efficeincy of energy usage, little environmental pollution, et al. but the existing problems were the limited capacity of producing, the high cost of the products, the low efficiency of grafting, et al. In this article the practical applications of chitosan oligomer are summarized, research progress of method of radiation degradation is particularly introduced.
