| Abstract: | Penicillin G sulfoxide P-nitrobenzyl ester is an important intermediate in the GCLEsynthesis,which can be prepared starting with penicillin G.Oxidation with peracetic acid of low concentration give Penicillin G sulfoxide,and esterification withp-nitrobenzyl chlorine give penicillin G sulfoxide p-nitrobenzyl ester.The qualiy of the final product is easily controlled in this method Which is safe and practicablein the factory. |
