| Abstract: | Potassium polyvinylsulfate has been synthesized. The influential factors, such as additions of chlorosulfonic acid and pyridine, reaction temperature and reaction time, on the properties of the product were studied. The results showed that the product has good solubility and higher esterification degree (84.7%). It could be used in colloidal titrations to determine the ionization degree of cationic polyelectrolytes. |
