With the continuous expansion of power grid in China,the structure and operation of power grid are becoming more and more complex,and the operation and maintenance of power system are facing great challenges.The normal operation and maintenance of relay protection plays a decisive role in the safe operation of the entire power system.It is of great significance to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power network to do a good job in emergency management.Based on the analysis and summary of the risks existing in the operation site of relay protection,countermeasures are proposed from the complete process of the four stages of prevention,preparation,response and recovery of the emergencies that may be caused.
