Teaching reform of monographic study on the history of artistic design

According to the teaching reform on a course named monographic study on the history of artistic design,the paper is focus on analyzing existing problems in its teaching process and the lack of traditional culture in current higher education;as the importance of designing the course is pointed out,the paper illustrates the deepening teaching reform for the postgraduates,such as the aspects of course design,teaching mode and teaching method.Moreover,the paper provides some reasonable suggestions for the teaching reform on courses which are designed for the postgraduates of art specialty in comprehensive universities.
