| Abstract: | This paper describes the main characteristics of LEO/MEO satellite communication systems, and introduces some typical LEO/MEO satellite communication systems, including Iridium, Globalstar, ICO, Teledesic, and Skybridge systems. It also discusses some developing trends and researches topics for future LEO/MEO satellite communication systems, such as satellite constellations, frequency band, satellite OBP and ISL, and network platforms. |
