| Abstract: | The characteristics and configuration of direct step-down rectifying system which was the latest rectifying technique for chlor - alkali were introduced. On the basis of its running data in a 200 kt/a caustic soda production facility, the importance of selecting apparatus and the necessity of controlling running parameters to save energy were analyzed. |
