家具背后的故事——朱小杰家具设计创意（一）

朱小杰——石匠、木匠、钳工,最后成为能做自己喜欢的家具的工匠。一九八九年留洋澳大利亚悉尼。一九九四年回国组建设计工作室。现任中国家具设计专业委员会副主任、上海家具设计专业委员会主任、澳珀家具设计师。澳珀工作室是一幢由朱小杰设计的办公楼,约5000多平方米。由展示厅、设计室及样品制作车间组成。主要从事家具设计,解决工艺流程,完成样品制作。让工厂可以按规范的图纸进行批量生产。澳珀工作室拥有各种技能的员工30多人,其中有平面设计师、家具设计师、室内设计师、建筑设计师、制图工程师及摄影师。最重要的一点是,它拥有一批具有传统手艺的木工师傅、木雕师傅、油漆师傅、缝纫师傅和机械工程师,是中国唯一具备这样系统的设计工作室。
