| Abstract: | The characteristics of special shaped columns structure were generalized, and the differences between special shaped columns structure and rectangular column, the special columns and short leg shear wall, special shaped columns and brick concrete structure were discussed. It pointed out that the proper tension resisting measures in special shaped columns frame system should be considered so as to agree with conceptual design requirements. |
