Abstract:Arc additive manufacture is a new technology for forming large and complex metal components,and its equipment is the key to realize the metal component integration of form and performance.A five arc additive manufacturing equipment that can realize the coordinated work of three robots and metal component integration of form and performance was developed.The equipment consists of an additive unit,a measuring unit and a subtractive processing unit.The RoboTeam software package was used to realize the coordinated work of three robots,and the robot path planning software in the overall control unit was developed to plan the paths of the three robots respectively.When using the developed equipment to form the propeller bracket,its tensile strength is 543 MPa,yield strength is 426 MPa,elongation is 24.2%,and impact toughness at-20℃is 132 J.The mechanical properties of the five arc additive manufacture part exceed the casting one of the same composition.The overall deviation between the size of the five arc additive manufacture propeller bracket and the standard model is±0.65 mm.
