Interrupt Design In A PC/AT Based system

Industrial system development is now becoming a heavy user of table or industrial computer. With its functional priorities and flexibility the computer will be broadly accepted in realtime industrial control sys-tem especially for its easy module blocks composition and plentifulness of available data processing modules and developing tools. This article introduced the computer's hardware interrupt structure and the principle of develop hardware interrupt based routines that is critical in realtime control system development. Some considerations in design hardware interrupt routine were explained through a practical example which can become a real user routine when added with user developed actual action body,Here the interfacing format for hardware interrupt was also described.
