| Abstract: | 1,2-polybutadiene is a new type of polybutadiene rubber. Its characteristics are ultimate tensile strength, lower heat built-up, excellent wet skid resistance and good heat ageing resistance. The experimental results showed that it is compatible with natural rubber (NR), The blend of NR/l,2-PBR applied to tire tread not only lowers rolling resitance, but also enhances travelling safety. It is possible to apply it to manufacturing pneumatic tires. |
