| Abstract: | This paper puts forward the notion of "equivalent" and a tentative theoretical model of equivalent. Based on the model, a method of quantitative calculation is presented, which can be applied to the assessment of scientific research work in colleges and universities. It pro-vides a new way to probe into the system for assessing the quantity of scientific researchwork. |
