现代纤维艺术通过"从洛桑到北京"的两次转型,完成了纤维艺术从"壁毯艺术"到"现代纤维艺术"的转型,当代纤维艺术已不仅是一个与绘画、雕塑等传统项目平行的艺术门类,而更像一个包容性极强的艺术平台,很多既有的艺术形式包含后现代建筑都可以与之交汇并诞生新的意义,进而不断丰富这些优美而独立的艺术语言。

Interaction of Modern Fiber Art with Post-modern Architectural Creation

Through the two exhibitions of From Lausanne to Beijing,fiber art has finished its transition from Tapestry Art to Modern Fiber Art.Since then,fiber art belongs no longer to the traditional art category like painting and sculpture,it is more like an inclusive art platform where some long-standing art forms like post-modern architecture get involved to generate new meanings and to further enrich this delicate and separate language of art-Fiber.
