Load Flow Calculation With Limits of Generator

When excitation limit of generator is satisfied it is hard to guarantee that stator current not to exceed its limit, when stator current limit of generator is satisfied it is also hard to guarantee that excitation current not to exceed its limit. The PIsr node in load flow is defined for generator with maximum excitation limit and maximum stator current limit in this paper. Based on stator current limit and rotor current limit equations of salient pole generator, the power deviation equations of load flow in polar coordinate and rectangular coordination are deduced by Newton's method, the correct formulas of Jacobian matrix elements are given too. The calculation time of this load flow method with maximum stator current limit and rotor current limit is increased not too much compared with that method with reactive power limit.
