Quality and specifications requirements for black-and-white photographic paper in the overseas market are presently quite different from that in the domestic market. The current fashion admired by customers in the world market is b/w photographic paper with high-whiteness background and blue-black tone.and generally of smaller format. whereas our local customers prefer big format photo-paper with warm tone. This paper introduces main research work carried out in the innovation of production technology for improving the tone and whiteness of the photographic paper emulsion and baryta coating, and their achievements.
