Application of Tundish Ladle Nodularizing Process and Tundish Ladle Design

Types and design characteristics of tundish ladles used for nodularizing treatment were mainly introduced. It＇sconsidered that a sort of ladle with lifting and lowering-able tundish is quite suitable to the conditions of author＇s foundry,and the matters to be attended to for design and usage of this type of tundish were pointed out. Practical production datashowed that it＇s possible, by adopting tundish ladle process, to reduce discharge of pollutants, stabilize the nodularizing quality of the iron melt, reduce temperature drop of nodularizing treatment and obviously reduce slag quantity caused by nodularizing treatment.
