Effect of Wire Drawing Die Cooling on Die's Service Life and Steel Wire Property

To analyze the effect of absent cooling of wire drawing die on lubrication,die′s service life and steel wire property,and improvement measures are put forward: first is suitable surplus quantity selection between die sheath and die core,second is to decrease the thickness of die sheath under condition of guaranteeing full of pre-tensile,the third is to force cooling for wire drawing die.
