Study on Characteristic Town Planning Method Considering Both Shape and Vitality:A Case Study on the Planning of the Dongcun Huahui Township in Tengzhou

In view of the status quo and problems of the current characteristic town planning and construction,the concept of ‘shape’ and ‘vitality’ commonly used in architectural design is incorporated into the traditional design method of characteristic towns.The paper expounds the basic connotation of urban planning with the‘shape’ and ‘vitality’,and puts forward the planning method of the characteristic town under the idea of both shape and vitality:It is necessary to consider the‘shape’ of the planning scheme,and more pursuing the strategies of ‘vitality’ including the planning of industry,human habitation,ecology and culture.Finally,this new method is applied to the planning of Dongcun Huahui township.I hope the paper can provide a new idea and perspective for the planning and construction of the characteristic town.
